Breaking: Ex-Reno Omokri Associate, Mike Arnold, Blasts Sultan of Sokoto Over Genocide Statement

Date:

A fresh wave of controversy has erupted on social media following strong allegations made by Mike Arnold, a former associate of Nigerian author and political commentator, Reno Omokri.

Arnold, in a fiery statement shared online, took aim at the Sultan of Sokoto over his recent comments challenging anyone to present evidence of genocidal acts in Nigeria.

Reacting to the Sultan’s remarks, Arnold accused him of being “the architect of the ongoing genocide,” further alleging that he has links to terror networks allegedly brought into Nigeria from Afghanistan.

He claimed that the Sultan offers “safe haven, vast resources, and Christian blood to feed their bloodlust,” describing the situation as a deeply rooted crisis that has cost countless lives.

Arnold went on to allege that the monarch has benefited financially from what he termed “blood minerals looted from killing fields” and warned that the Sultan could soon face trial before an international court for crimes against humanity.

The explosive allegations have since ignited widespread debate across Nigeria’s online space. While some citizens and activists are calling for an official investigation into Arnold’s claims, others are urging restraint and caution until verifiable evidence is provided.

The Sultan of Sokoto has not yet issued any response to the allegations as of the time of filing this report.
