Defence Minister Bello Matawalle Distributes 100 Cows to APC Members in Zamfara for Eid-El-Fitr Celebration

The Minister of State for Defence, Dr. Bello Matawalle, has distributed over 100 cows to members of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara State to aid in the celebration of Eid-El-Fitr.

The distribution ceremony took place in Gusau, with the APC State Chairman, Hon. Tukur Umar Danfulani, represented by the party’s Secretary, Hon. Ibrahim Umar Dangaladima, overseeing the process.

Dr. Matawalle explained that this initiative is part of his annual Ramadan support program for APC members and underprivileged individuals. The program provides food, meat, and clothing to ensure a joyful Sallah celebration for all beneficiaries. He stressed that the act of giving during Ramadan is in line with the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (SAW), encouraging more Muslims to engage in similar acts of generosity and kindness.

The Minister further called for continued prayers for the nation’s security forces as they ramp up efforts against banditry, achieving significant successes in the region. He reiterated the Ministry of Defence’s commitment to fulfilling President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s directive to restore peace and stability across the country.

In response, the APC State Publicity Secretary, Mallam Yusuf Idris Gusau, expressed gratitude to Dr. Matawalle for his generosity. He assured that all identified beneficiaries would receive their allocations as promised, while also emphasizing the party’s dedication to ensuring electoral success at all levels.
