The Take It Back Movement, Ondo State Chapter, has expressed solidarity with the National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS) Ondo Joint Campus Council (JCC) in their protest against the “fake promises” of the state governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa.

In a statement jointly signed by Owolabi Patrick, the State Coordinator, and Ogefa Ayomide, the State Public Relations Officer, the group reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the students’ cause and ensuring that the governor fulfils his promises to Nigerian students.

The Take It Back Movement emphasised the importance of unity in the fight for students’ rights, assuring the protesters that they were not alone.

The group also called on other stakeholders to rally behind NANS Ondo JCC to amplify their demands.

The protest, tagged ‘Nigerian Students Protest Against Fake Promises of Mr. Governor,” seeks to hold the governor accountable for commitments made to students, which they claim remain unfulfilled.

“We are writing to express our deepest solidarity with NANS Ondo JCC over the protest tagged ‘Nigerian Students Protest Against Fake Promises Of Mr. Governor.’ We stand with you in this difficult time and reaffirm our commitment to supporting your cause.

“We believe that this struggle is a collective one, and we are ready to join the move in order to force Mr. Governor to fulfil all the promises he had towards Nigerian students. We recognise the importance of the struggle and are committed to upholding it.

“We want to assure you that you are not alone in this struggle. We will continue to provide support and advocacy to help address the challenges you are facing.

“We urge others to join us in standing in solidarity with NANS Ondo JCC. Together, we can make a difference and create a more just and equitable world.

“Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with you during this challenging time. We will continue to stand with you and support your efforts.”
