Kenyan hairdresser Hellen Mutimu has once again publicly confronted Nigerian socialite Pascal Okechukwu, popularly known as Cubana Chief Priest, demanding a paternity test for her son.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Since January 2025, Mutimu has persistently accused Chief Priest of neglect and evasion, using social media to pressure him into taking responsibility.
“Stop Running” – Mutimu Challenges Chief Priest
In an Instagram story on Sunday, Mutimu referenced a viral video of a character running while being urged not to, likening it to Chief Priest allegedly avoiding a DNA test.
“Murefe, stop running because of a DNA test. This boy eats just like you, Pascal. Come and take responsibility for your son; there is no food to feed him anymore.”
She also compared Chief Priest’s alleged actions to his own childhood experience, claiming his father abandoned him due to fame.
“Pascal, see how your father neglected you because of fame. I am fighting for what is right—for you, my son. You can’t run forever, Murefe. Don’t run, come back.”
“I Will Drop the Boy at Your Doorstep”
On Thursday, Mutimu intensified her demands, warning she would take drastic action if Chief Priest continued to ignore her.
“Nothing will stop me from demanding the DNA test. If you ignore me, I will drop this boy at your doorstep.”
She also hinted at a surprise visit, emphasizing Kenya’s proximity to Nigeria.
“You think Lagos is far from Kenya? It’s just five hours away. Don’t be surprised when your son arrives at your doorstep. Don’t expect to see me there. Let me give you back your blood if that’s what you want. I don’t care what you do with him.”
Alleged Affair and Denials
Mutimu claims she met Chief Priest at a friend’s wedding in Lagos in April 2022, where their brief encounter resulted in pregnancy. She alleges he initially promised support but later cut off all communication and blocked her.
During a January interview, she said he urged her to return to Kenya after learning of the pregnancy. She further revealed that financial struggles forced her to close her salon, and while Chief Priest allegedly sent her ₦300,000 in small instalments, he has refused to acknowledge the child.
Chief Priest Denies Allegations
Despite the accusations, Cubana Chief Priest has strongly denied knowing Mutimu or fathering her child.
“I don’t know her; I have never met her. The boy definitely can’t be my child.”
Instead of addressing her claims, he has publicly celebrated his wife, Angel Okechukwu, and their two sons on social media.
Ongoing Drama
While Chief Priest continues to deny any involvement, Mutimu remains adamant about securing a better future for her child. With her threats of direct action, the controversy may soon take a new turn.
