The premiere of the much-anticipated ‘Kiekie Unscripted Experience,’ a talent game show created by media personality Bukunmi Adeaga-Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, was a star-studded spectacle on March 1, 2025. The event, hosted by Nancy Isime at Filmhouse Cinemas in Lekki, Lagos, dazzled with entertainment, fashion, and thrilling games.

Fashion Statements and Iconic Recreates

In line with the show’s theme “Alter Ego: Channelling the Queen,” attendees showcased bold fashion choices inspired by iconic figures. Kiekie herself turned heads with her stunning recreation of Beyoncé’s Renaissance Tour look, wearing a silver minidress with a plunging neckline, a floor-length fringe cape, a metallic cowboy hat, and a custom microphone.

Veekee James emulated American preacher Sarah Jakes Roberts, while Funke Akindele brought boss energy in a sleek black pinstripe suit, white shirt, black tie, and blonde hair with bold red lips. Other notable celebrities gracing the event included Kate Henshaw, Mercy Aigbe, Bisola Aiyeola, Timi Dakolo, and Hilda Baci, among others.

The Show’s Unscripted Excitement

The evening’s excitement unfolded in three key segments. The red carpet glamour saw a parade of celebrities showcasing their unique styles. The Concert Experience featured Alternatesound Band and DJ Crowd Kontroller, setting the mood for the event with electrifying performances and a lively atmosphere.

The highlight of the evening was the ‘Unscripted Experience’ premiere. Kiekie herself wowed the crowd with a performance on the drums, introducing the experience with a powerful musical performance.

Game Segments and Challenges

The talent-filled evening featured thrilling celebrity-led challenges and interactive segments. In the Unscripted Alphabet Challenge, skit makers Broda Shaggi and Oluwadollarz competed to arrange the word “Unscripted” on a climbing wall. Broda Shaggi emerged victorious.

Other challenges included the Balloon-Busters segment, where Isbae U raced against a randomly selected audience member, and the Food Contest featuring Chef Bums and Ella, both vying for a grand prize of N500,000.

The event also showcased contestants from diverse backgrounds competing in categories like singing, dancing, comedy, and celebrity vs. celebrity showdowns.

The Show’s Future and Prizes

The show, which had been delayed due to technical challenges, aired its first episode on March 1 on Kiekie TV on YouTube. The series will run for 12 weeks, with new episodes premiering every Friday at 5:00 p.m. Over 30 participants will compete for grand prizes, including a 2023 Mikano Changan car, N30 million, and two all-expense-paid trips.

Audience members can engage in live voting through the interactive segment ‘All My Guys Are Ballers’ to support their favorite contestants. The contestants were selected through a unique registration process, including talent video submissions on Instagram and TikTok. The show is set to conclude in May 2025.
