Speaking at the gathering, Chief Osita Anionwu, Chief of Staff of Ime Obi Onitsha, highlighted serious concerns, including:
• The withdrawal of N100 million from Hon. Azuka’s bank account during his captivity.
• The mysterious escape of two suspects from police custody.
• Contradictory statements from the State Government and Police regarding key details.
Calls for Federal and State Action
The community has urged Professor Chukwuma Soludo, Governor of Anambra State, to restore confidence in the state’s security apparatus and ensure that justice is served.
Additionally, plans are underway to strengthen local security measures in collaboration with security agencies.
