President Bola Tinubu has proposed the creation of reconciliation committees to address grievances among members of the All Progressives Congress (APC). He made this announcement on Wednesday during the party’s National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting at the APC National Secretariat in Abuja.

He also commended the APC National Working Committee (NWC) for its performance in managing the party’s affairs.
APC National Chairman Abdullahi Ganduje echoed Tinubu’s stance, stating that ongoing reconciliation efforts are already yielding positive results. He explained that the party has initiated high-level discussions to resolve internal disputes and that the proposed Conflict Reconciliation Committee will build on these efforts.
Ganduje also highlighted the party’s focus on winning upcoming governorship elections in Anambra and Osun states.
The NEC meeting was attended by NWC members, state party chairmen, and several governors, including those of Edo, Benue, Ondo, Ekiti, Kaduna, Jigawa, Nasarawa, Yobe, Niger, Lagos, Kogi, Ogun, and Imo, along with the deputy governor of Ebonyi. Former governors of Kogi, Kebbi, Niger, Zamfara, and Plateau were also present.
Notably absent were former President Muhammadu Buhari, former Governor of Kaduna State Nasir El-Rufai, and former Governor of Rivers State Rotimi Amaechi.
