However, Eminent Music, Nasboi’s current label, swiftly debunked the claims in a press release. The statement, shared by Nasboi on his social media, clarified that he remains under contract with Eminent Music and ONErpm, with his partnership with D’banj’s CREAM being limited to an ambassadorship role.
The press release explained, “Our attention has been drawn to a publication circulating on social and print media, which may have been widely misconstrued that our artist, the Afrobeats star Nasboi, has been signed by the CREAM Platform. Eminent Music would like to state emphatically that this news is inaccurate. Nasboi has remained signed to the label since February 2023, and his landmark musical journey is solely distributed by the globally reputable company ONErpm.”
The statement further emphasized Nasboi’s unique influence as an entertainer and content creator, which often requires collaborations with various platforms. Despite these collaborations, his musical career is firmly tied to Eminent Music and ONErpm.
