The All Progressives Congress (APC) has hit back at Senator Aminu Tambuwal, former Governor of Sokoto State, after his recent comments about politicians defecting to the ruling party. Tambuwal had stated that no politician with conscience would join the APC, a remark the APC swiftly criticized.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Felix Morka, the National Publicity Secretary of APC, slammed Tambuwal, accusing him of lacking the moral right to speak on defections, considering his own history of party-switching. Morka highlighted Tambuwal’s record of defections, starting from ANPP to the DPP, back to ANPP, then to PDP, and most recently, his return to PDP after briefly joining APC in 2014.
Morka said Tambuwal’s political moves were driven by self-interest and a pursuit of “stomach infrastructure,” undermining his credibility to criticize others. He emphasized that a politician with such a convoluted history of defections should not throw stones, citing the saying, “people who live in glass houses should not throw stones.”
