GTBank Eliminates POS Processing Fees to Support Businesses, SMEs to Benefit

Lagos, Nigeria – February 12, 2025 – Guaranty Trust Bank Ltd (GTBank) has announced the removal of processing fees on all GTBank POS terminals, allowing merchants to receive payments without incurring Merchant Service Charges (MSC). This initiative, effective from February 11, 2025, aims to ease financial burdens on businesses, particularly small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs).

Zero-Cost Transactions for Merchants

With this move, qualifying SME merchants using GTBank POS terminals can now process payments at zero cost, helping them reduce operational expenses and improve profitability. The initiative is also designed to enhance customer experience by making digital payments more accessible and seamless.
