The National Working Committee (NWC) of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has officially confirmed Sunday Udeh-Okoye as the party’s National Secretary, in compliance with a ruling by the Court of Appeal.

“The NWC, after thorough consideration of the legal opinions and court judgments, overwhelmingly recognizes, acknowledges, and confirms Rt. Hon. S.K.E Udeh-Okoye as the substantive National Secretary of the PDP,” the statement read.
PDP Submits Resolution to INEC for Recognition
In accordance with the ruling, the PDP has begun the process of transmitting its resolution affirming Udeh-Okoye to the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) and other relevant authorities. The party also noted that no existing or superior court ruling contradicts the Court of Appeal’s decision.

The opposition party expressed appreciation to its members, leaders, and stakeholders for their loyalty and commitment to due process. It reiterated its dedication to upholding the party’s Constitution, democracy, and the well-being of Nigerians.
