In addition to the 3008 GT, DPAN is set to introduce the Peugeot Landtrek 4×2, a rear-wheel-drive pickup truck powered by a 2.4-liter engine, further expanding its footprint in the light commercial vehicle segment. The Landtrek is known for its ruggedness, and a 4×4 version may follow later.
DPAN is also working to expand its Peugeot dealership network across Nigeria, ensuring better market visibility and enhanced after-sales support. The company’s efforts are backed by Dangote Industries Limited, various state governments, and Stellantis Group, the parent company of Peugeot.
The addition of the 3008 GT and the upcoming Landtrek pickup aligns with DPAN’s commitment, made during the launch of the 301 sedan in 2022, to introduce new models such as the 3008, 5008, and 508. With an assembly capacity of 120 vehicles per day, DPAN aims to position Peugeot at the forefront of the Nigerian auto market once again, after the brand’s decline due to economic challenges and policy shifts in the 1990s.
