Daniel Bwala, special adviser to President Bola Tinubu on policy communication, has dismissed concerns that former Kaduna governor Nasir el-Rufai poses a threat to the administration.
Thank you for reading this post, don't forget to subscribe!Speaking on TVC News on February 6, Bwala stated that Tinubu is not unsettled by el-Rufai’s criticism, arguing that the opposition lacks structure and direction. He suggested that el-Rufai’s grievances stem from his exclusion from the president’s cabinet.
Bwala further claimed that el-Rufai’s political relevance was largely tied to former President Muhammadu Buhari’s influence, asserting that the former governor would struggle to win a Senate seat in Kaduna on his own.
The comments come as el-Rufai continues to criticize the APC, alleging the party has strayed from its founding principles.
