Melania Trump will resume her role as first lady, making the White House her primary residence. Unlike Trump’s first term, when she delayed moving in to allow their son Barron to finish school in New York, she plans to settle in immediately. As before, she is expected to oversee traditional first lady responsibilities, such as organizing state dinners and promoting causes like anti-bullying.
Donald Trump Jr.
Trump’s eldest son, Don Jr., remains a significant figure in the MAGA movement. His popular “Triggered” podcast continues to engage the conservative base. Although he will not hold an official White House role, he remains an executive vice president at the Trump Organization. Despite ending his engagement with Kimberly Guilfoyle, she will stay active in the political sphere as ambassador to Greece.
Ivanka Trump
Ivanka Trump, who served as a senior advisor during her father’s first term, has chosen not to return to public service. She cited the personal toll politics took on her family as her reason for stepping back. Ivanka has largely avoided the spotlight since Trump’s 2024 campaign launch.
Eric Trump
Eric Trump, like Don Jr., is expected to continue his dual role as an executive at the Trump Organization and an unofficial political advisor. He has been a loyal supporter of his father at rallies and in media appearances. Meanwhile, his wife, Lara Trump, has shifted her focus to a music career after stepping down from her role at the Republican National Committee.
While the Trump family may not take formal roles in the administration, their presence and influence in the former president’s political endeavors remain significant.
