Ukraine’s Air Force Commander Mykola Oleshchuk reported on Sunday that Ukraine’s air defence systems intercepted and destroyed two of the three missiles launched by Russia. He did not specify the fate of the third missile.

Ruslan Kravchenko, head of the Kyiv region’s administration, stated on Telegram that falling debris injured two people, who did not require hospitalization. The debris also damaged six multi-storey residential buildings, over 20 private houses, a gas station, a pharmacy, an administrative building, and three cars.

Kyiv and several other regions across Ukraine were under air raid alerts for about an hour starting at 4:50 a.m. local time (0150 GMT) on Sunday. Reuters witnesses reported hearing several blasts in and around Kyiv, likely from air defence systems engaging incoming threats.
