The Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS) in Kwara Command has disclosed the presence of 3,000 uncollected international passports, as revealed by Alhaji Baba Aliyu, the retiring Comptroller of Passports in the Command.

He cited issues with incorrect phone numbers provided by applicants, resulting in failed communication attempts.
Aliyu urged applicants to retrieve their passports from the Immigration Office, emphasizing the importance of these documents beyond travel purposes.
He also encouraged Nigerians to utilize the immigration.gov.ng website for a seamless passport application or renewal process, which typically takes just two weeks.
