The National and State Houses of Assembly Elections Petition Tribunal in Plateau has invalidated the election victories of four Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) members due to the absence of a party structure in the state.

The affected lawmakers include Peter Gyendeng for Barkin-Ladi/Riyom Federal Constituency, Musa Bagos for Jos South/Jos East Federal Constituency, Beni Lar for Langtang North/Langtang South Federal Constituency, and Napoleon Bali for Plateau South Senatorial District.
The tribunal’s decision benefits candidates from other parties. The PDP has expressed dissatisfaction, citing a contradictory ruling by another panel on national assembly elections petitions.
