A woman is currently battling with her life in a hospital in Makurdi, Benue State after she was brutalised by her husband, Emma Kwaghgbe, said to be a house agent.
A Facebook user, Krayzeetee Azu, who is handling the case, said the incident happened on Saturday night, July 8, 2023.
Mr. Azu, said the victim is receiving treatment at Yima Clinic Akehe at the mercy of online donors as she has no money to pay the bills.
“This is what one Emmanuel Kwaghgbe who stays at International market road before jamb office. The next plot after NKST Acha has been doing to his wife,” he wrote alongside a video of the man beating his wife.
“Neighbours have confirmed that he wakes up everyday without giving them food and leave the house to his side chicks house, then come back home very late just to wake the children up and flog the hell out of them.
“This was what he did to his wife last night just because of Nyam I bam. Why on earth will a man beat his wife to this level? What is her crime? The wife is scared of voicing out that he might kill her but should we allow this woman to die in silence. What should we do to help this woman??”(www.naija247news.com).
