The Nigerian stock market on Thursday extended the bullish trend as the All Share Index grew by 0.07% to close at 55,808.25 points from the previous close of 55,769.28 points.
The Market Capitalisation appreciated by 0.07% to close at N30.388 trillion from the previous close of N30.367 trillion, thereby adding N21 billion.
An aggregate of 390 million units of shares were traded in 7,725 deals, valued at N5.7 billion.
The Market Breadth closed positive as 30 equities emerged as gainers against 20 equities that declined in their share prices.
Percentage Gainers
CONOIL led other gainers with 9.92% growth to close at N63.70 from the previous close of 57.95.
Sterling Bank, Eterna Oil and Cornerstone Insurance among other gainers also grew their share prices by 9.76%, 9.74% and 8.97% respectively.
Percentage Losers
FTN Cocoa led other price decliners as it shed 9.88% of its share price to close at N0.73 from the previous close of N0.81.
Champion Breweries and MCNICHOLS among other price decliners also shed their share prices by 9.62% and 9.21% respectively.
Volume Drivers
Zenith Bank traded about 37 million units of its shares in 684 deals, valued at N282.5 million.
UBA traded about 46 million units of its shares in 483 deals, valued at N453 million.
ACCESSCORP traded about 51 million units of its shares in 631 deals, valued at N1 billion.(www.naija247news.com).
