It was Osimhen’s 100th career goal in 197 matches faster than the likes of Cristiano Ronaldo, Lionel Messi and Zlatan Ibrahimovic.
Messi achieved the feat in 210 games, while it took Ronaldo 301 games to score his 100th career goal.
The 24-year-old has also scored in his last seven Serie A games for Napoli.
Only Erling Haaland and Kylian Mbappe have a better record than the Nigerian star.
Haaland achieved the feat in just 156 games, while it took Mbappe 180 games to net century of goals.
Osimhen has been linked with a move to Chelsea and Manchester United at the end of the season.
He is also been touted as the next Nigerian player to win the Africa Player of the year award due to his impressive performances for Napoli.
The former Lille forward is leading the charge to end Napoli’s Serie A title drought which dates back to 1990.
