Rashford On Target Again As Manchester United Pip Leeds

Marcus Rashford continued his impressive form for Manchester United with a goal in the 2-0 win over Leeds United at Elland Road on Sunday.

Rashford was also on target in the first leg at Old Trafford which ended 2-2 on Wednesday.

The first half ended goalless with Leeds United unable to go past David De Gea.

Rashford broke the deadlock with 10 minutes to go with a glancing header from a pinpoint cross by Luke Shaw.

Substitute Alejandro Garnacho outpaced the Leeds United defence to finish past Meslier to make it 2-0 and ultimately hand the visitors the maximum points.

Rashford has now scored 21 goals in all competitions for Manchester this season, he has also bagged eight goals in his last nine Premier League games.

It was Manchester United’s second win in five Premier League matches, they are now seven points clear of fifth-placed Tottenham.

Leeds United have failed to win in their last nine Premier League games and would drop into the relegation zone if Everton beat Liverpool on Monday.
