Real Madrid are expected to be without the likes of Karim Benzema, Thibaut Courtois and Eder Militao for the FIFA World Club Cup clash with Al Ahly on Wednesday.
Courtois sustained a thigh injury in the build-up to the 1-0 loss to Real Mallorca on Sunday.
Benzema copped a thigh injury against Valencia on Thursday to continue a frustrating time on the sidelines.
Eden Hazard and Ferland Mendy are also expected to miss out of the encounter due to injuries.
Benzema and Courtois have been left out of Real Madrid’s 22-man squad for the competition.
Real Madrid have endured a topsy-turvy season, going eight points behind Barcelona in the La liga title race and also struggling for form.
They will hope to put all that behind them when they face Egypt’s Ah Ahly on Wednesday in the semi final of the FIFA World Club Cup.
