Arsenal manager, Mikel Arteta has been named the Premier League manager of the month for January.
The former Arsenal captain has now won it twice in a row after winning it in December.
The Spaniard has been reward for Arsenal’s fine form in January which included a well-deserved 3-2 win over Manchester United and Tottenham.
The Gunners earned seven points in January which takes them closer to winning the title, they are five points clear of second-placed Manchester City.
“After the World Cup break, you have certain questions – how is the team going to react, are we ready and have we lost that momentum?
“I don’t think we did, I think we used that time really well. We were lucky not to have some big problems in that period and the team responded by winning a lot of games. Arteta said.
“It’s difficult to choose the best moment because we had some big ones, but obviously the game that we won away at Spurs was a key one.”

Arteta has now won three manager of the month awards this season in August, November/December and January.
He becomes the first Arsenal manager to win the award three times in a season.
He has won the award five times in his three years at Arsenal.
Arteta will hope to continue the impressive form in February when Arsenal take on Everton on Saturday.
