Real Sociedad forward, Umar Sadiq, has made a significant step towards recovering from his cruciate ligament injury.

Sadiq sustained the injury while in action for the White and Blues against Getafe in September.

The 25-year-old later underwent surgery and was expected to be ruled out for the remainder of the campaign.

However, the striker seems to have made a quick recovery from the injury after doing personal work in the gym this week.

Sadiq joined Real Sociedad from another LaLiga club, Almeria last summer.

The Nigeria international scored on his debut in the 1-1 draw against Atletico Madrid.(www.naija247news.com)
