Al-Nassr striker, Cristiano Ronaldo, was greeted with Lionel Messi chants from Al-Ittihad supporters during their Saudi Super Cup game on Thursday.

As he arrived at the King Fahd International Stadium for the clash, Ronaldo received a rather surprising reaction from the home crowd.

The 37-year-old, who has been treated like royalty since making his big-money move to the Middle East, was greeted by chants for his eternal rival Messi.

Ronaldo played against Messi last weekend in a friendly and is now settling into domestic action with his new side.

The evening however got worse for Al-Nassr as they lost 3-1 to Al-Ittihad.

Talisca got the consolation for Al-Nassr, with Ronaldo yet to score his first goal for the club.(www .naija247news.com)
