Erling Haaland scored a hat-trick to lead Manchester City to a comfortable 3-0 lead over Wolves in a Premier League encounter on Sunday at the Etihad Stadium.
The Norwegian forward was also on target in the 4-2 win over Tottenham on Thursday to end his three-game drought.
Haaland gave Man City the lead in the 40th minute when he headed in Kevin De Bruyne’s pinpoint cross.
Five minutes after the restart, Haaland added the second goal from the penalty spot after Ilkay Gundogan was fouled by Ruben Neves.
He took advantage of Jose Sa’s misplaced pass which went straight to Mahrez before he teed up Haaland to complete his fourth hat-trick of the season.
Haaland is on course to equal Alan Shearer’s record of most hat-trick in a Premier League season five.
He has now scored 25 Premier League goals in his first 20 games this season.
