Rashford had a hand in all three goals to send Manchester United to the fourth round of the competition.

He assisted the opening goal for Antony before  playing a role in the second goal which Conor Coady diverted into his own net.

Conor Coady restored parity for Everton after David De Gea fumbled Neal Maupay’s cross.

Rashford put the icing on the cake from the penalty spot.

The England star has now scored in five consecutive games for Manchester United for the first time in his career.

Everton suffered a big blow on the night when Super Eagles midfielder Alex Iwobi was stretchered off with what appears to be an ankle injury following a bad tackle from Tyrel Malacia.

Manchester United have now won 10 out their last 11 games in all competitions.
