FBNQuest Merchant Bank Supports the Healthy Heart Foundation to Deliver Quality Cardiovascular Care to Indigents

In line with its goal to support impactful community-focused initiatives, FBNQuest Merchant Bank, the investment banking and asset management subsidiary of FBN Holdings Plc, supported the Healthy Heart Foundation by First Cardiology Consultants on its official launch of the foundation.

The foundation was formed specifically to address the health gap in Nigeria, by offering specialty open heart surgeries to indigents free of charge whilst developing research and providing training for local clinicians.

The Healthy Heart Foundation aims to bridge the existing gap in the healthcare system in Nigeria and provide comprehensive cardiovascular care where everyone can have access to healthcare specialty without any limitations. The bank believes the initiative is a worthy cause, that helps create access to quality healthcare, train and empower healthcare practitioners in Nigeria that will positively impact the healthcare system.

In line with the bank’s Corporate Responsibility and Sustainability efforts, the firm continues to seek opportunities, community engagements and the Healthy Heart Foundation presents the platform to achieve this goal. The organisation is delighted to support this initiative that could considerably provide quality and accessible healthcare services to the less privileged in the society.
