The SGF said the appointment of the president’s former personal assistant on New Media took effect from July 19, 2022.
He had earlier resigned after the president directed all political office holders wishing to contest elective office to resign.
Ahmad subsequently lost his bid to secure the All Progressives Congress (APC) ticket for Kano State’s Gaya/Ajingi/Albasu Federal Constituency.
He is believed to be the only presidential aide that has been recalled by the president since the conclusion of the APC primaries.
All ministers who resigned to participate in the party’s primaries but failed to secure tickets have since been replaced by the president.
