Naira depreciates against dollar, exchanges at 421.50

Lagos, May 16, 2022 The Naira on Monday depreciated at the Investors and Exporters window, exchanging at 421.50 to the dollar, representing 0.60 per cent, compared to 419 traded on Friday.

The open indicative rate closed at N417.30 to the dollar on Monday.

An exchange rate of N444.00 to the dollar was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at N421.50.

The Naira sold for as low as 410 to the dollar within the day’s trading.

A total of 70.68 million dollars was traded in foreign exchange at the official Investors and Exporters window on Monday.
