Enugu, Jan. 24, 2022 A chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Enugu State, Mr Ejike Omeje, has solicited support for the state Chairman of the party, Chief Ugochukwu Agballah.

Omeje made the call on Monday in Enugu in an interview with News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

The chieftain said that supporting Agballah’s administration would enable the party to move forward in the state.

Omeje described Agballah as a man of integrity and wisdom, who had all it would take to move APC to the next level in Enugu State.

He urged APC members in the state to participate actively in the party’s national convention, saying that election into APC positions at the national level was crucial.

“APC as a political party has the capacity to spread its tentacles across the 36 states of the federation and the Federal Capital Territory.

“This is the guiding principle, the party will be positioned to win elective positions,” he said.

Naija247news reports that Agballah was elected the Chairman of APC in Enugu State during the Oct. 16, 2021 congress of the state chapter of the party.
