It said that the governor’s uncommon leadership style and monumental achievements in the last 22 months had endeared him to the people of the state.
“We commend Gov. Makinde for his great performance in executing development projects and ongoing laudable projects in the state within 22 months in office,” it said.
The group prayed that God would continue to increase the governor in wisdom and understanding to perform beyond expectations.
It called on the people of the state to continue to support and pray for the governor in his efforts towards transforming the state and taking it to an enviable height.
NAN recalls that the group had recently described the chieftaincy title of Giade Yama of Katagum conferred on Makinde by the Emir of Katagum, Alhaji Faruk Umar, as recognition of his selfless service.
The group had described the honour as well-deserved, saying it was an attestation to the governor’s commitment to people’s welfare and service to humanity.
