Kaduna, Oct. 21, 2020 The Kaduna State Ministry for Sports Development, in collaboration with the Handball Federation of Nigeria (HFN) has begun a close camp for 45 handballers ahead of the 2020 Prudent Energy Handball Premier League, holding Abuja from Oct. 23 to Nov. 7.
The Public Relation Officer of the ministry, Mrs Jummai Nuhu, said on Wednesday in Kaduna that the male and female handballers were camped the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.
She said the training was to boost their morale, strengthen performance and strategise for a resounding success during the tournament.
“The players will get to know each other and foster team spirit and cohesion,” she added.
Nuhu said that all the players were tested for COVID-19 before allowed into the camp.
