Nasarawa lawmaker bags `Most Youth Friendly Award’

Lafia, Sept. 14, 2020 Mr Musa Iyimoga, member representing Doma North Constituency at the Nasarawa State House of Assembly, has bagged an award as the Most Youth Friendly and Supportive Legislator of the Year from the Face of Democracy, Nasarawa State.

Iyimoga (ZLP- Doma North), while receiving the award on Tuesday in Lafia, thanked the group for finding him worthy of the award.

” This award will spur me to do more toward supporting youth activities in the state.

” I also want to assure you that I will continue to represent my people well as well as key into good policies and programmes that will have direct bearing on the lives of my people.

” I will use my office judiciously to promote youths activities in the state, ” he said.

Iyimoga called on youths to continue to be law abiding, respect constituted authorities and live in peace for development to thrive.

The lawmaker called on the youths and other Nigerians to support government policies and programmes in order to enjoy more dividends of democracy.

Earlier, Mr Yakubu Alkali, the Coordinator of Face of Democracy, Nasarawa State, while presenting the award to the lawmaker, said that it was based on his leadership qualities.

Alkali said that the group was formed in order to promote unity, peace, progress and development of the state.

He urged the lawmaker to continue to be friendly and support youth activities in the state.
