Iruekpen (Edo State), Sept. 3, 2020 Pastor Osagie Ize-Iyamu, Candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), in the Edo governorship election, has assured of infrastructural development in Iruekpen community, Esan West Local Government Area.

Speaking at his ward-to-ward campaign rally at Iruekpen, Ize-Iyamu said APC was the only party that had brought development to the state.

He said he would give priority to the construction of a Divisional Police Office and make functional the step down transformer in the community if elected the Edo governor.

He said he would also ensure that the Magistrates’ court that got burnt in the area 10 years ago was rebuilt.

Ize-Iyamu also took his simple agenda message to the people in Irrua, Esan Central LGA, with a promise to empower the people.

He assured that the issue of security and other pressing needs of the people would be addressed as they had been captured in his simple agenda for the state.

Also, Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, who was part of the APC campaign team, canvassed for votes for Ize-iyamu.

Oshiomole decried the inability of the present state government to carry on with his developmental programmes.

He lamented that the state government could not maintain the water fountain at Kings Square.

He also pointed out that teachers had not been employed in the state schools in the last four years.

A minute silence was, however, observed for the two policemen who were part of Oshiomhole’s convoy to Usen for a campaign rally but died in an accident near Oluku a few days ago.
