Gusau, Aug. 18, 2020 Alhaji Lawal Liman, the Chairman of All Progressives Congress (APC) in Zamfara, has described the death of former Managing Director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN), Malam Wada Maida, as a great loss.
Liman, who was a former Commissioner for Health in Zamfara, described the death of Maida as not only a great loss to Kastina State and the media industry, but to Nigeria in general.
“On behalf of my humble self and my entire family, we register our condolences to the family of Wada Maida, the entire NAN management and entire staff as well as the media industry.
“The death of Wada Maida is a great loss that has created a space difficult to fill.
“I urge media practitioners in the country to emulate the good character and values of Alhaji Wada Maida,” Liman said in an interview with NAN.
