The Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki held a virtual meeting with the President, General Muhammadu Buhari. The meeting was made public by the governor on Monday as he described their connection as a father and son relationship.
Obaseki revealed matters concerning the development of the state, which included management of COVID-19 confirmed cases was discussed.
The governor wrote on his Facebook page with some picture “My relationship with President Muhammadu Buhari is that of a father and son. I was on a zoom meeting with the president, during which we engaged on development issues affecting Edo people and Nigerians. We also discussed measures to manage the spread of COVID-19”
He, however, did not disclose whether the politics of the day was discussed with the president, since he is seeking reelection on the platform of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) following his relocation
