Nigerian Bourse Rises as NSEASI Inches Up By 0.16%; Closes Above 27,000bpts


Equities market closed today on a positive note, as NSEASI appreciated by +0.16% to close at 27,035.78 points as against +0.44% appreciation recorded previously. Its Year-to-Date (YTD) returns currently stands at -13.98%.

Market breadth closed positive as LAWUNION led 20 Gainers as against 16 Losers topped by OKOMUOIL at the end of today’s session- an improved performance when compared with previous outlook.

Market Turnover Market turnover closes positive as volume moved up by +11.21% as against -13.30% downtick recorded in the previous session.

ZENITHBANK, GUARANTY and FBNH were the most active to boost market turnover.

ZENITHBANK and GUARANTY topped market value list.

CONTINSURE leads the list of active stocks that recorded impressive volume spike at the end of today’s session.
