Moringa scientifically called Oleifera is an amazing plant with surplus health benefit that is why without argument its also called the miracle tree. Moringa is a sole genus in the flowering plants family called moringaeae .the plant is widely known with different names such as Ben oil and Horseradish tree,in Nigeria moringa is known with different names as well in different tribe, in the northeast part of the country is called “Zogole”among the Hausa’s the Yoruba’s called it “Igi-igala “and Igbo “Iwe-Oyibe”.
Moringa is an important source of food in most part of the world,especially in the western countries it’s dried and sold as dietary supplement either in powder or capsule form. Study have shown that the diet of people in the developing nations sometimes lacks vitamins ,minerals and proteins, in those kind of countries moringa Oleifera serves as an essential sources of nutrients it leaves are cooked and used like spinach,the seed cake remaining after extracting the oil is used as a fertilizer and also to purify well water and to remove salt from seawater the oil from the moringa seed is used in food,perfume and hair care product and as a machine lubricant.
Moringa contains many healthful compound such as;
Vitamin A
Vitamin B1(thiamine)
Vitamin B2(riboflavin)
Vitamin B3(niacinB-6
Folate and ascorbic acid vitamin c
Calcium, potassium, iron,magnesium, phosphorus, zinc.
It interesting to know that moringa is very helpful to all human being the plant is actually good for you as well! It fight against bacteria diseases due to it antibacterial, antifungal and antimicrobial properties.it helps in treating stomach problems such as constipation gastritis and ulcerative colitis.
In treating diabetes the miracle tree help in reducing the amount of glucose in the blood ,sugar and protein in the Urine .it treat Edema which is a painful condition where fluids builds up in a specific tissue in the body, the anti- inflammatory properties of moringa may be effective in preventing damage cause by tubercular drugs and can quicken its repair process. The miracle plant contains isothiocipnate and naiziminin compound which help to stop arteries from thickening which is likely to cause blood pressure to rise,research has proven that,taking 3 grams of moringa twice fail for 3 weeks reduces asthma symptoms and improves lungs functions in an adult,it also help wound to heal and reduced appearance of scare.
To the skin:moringa is very beneficial to the skin,it seed oil is very good to the skin and to the production of cosmetics and skin care product. It help in removing toxins ,pimples and acne breakout may be sign of accumulation of toxins in the blood.
