of the agency to witness an award bestowed on whom honour is due.
The prestigious award which came from the Lead Africa, as observed by our correspondent was in recognition of the achievement of the agency through the Executive Secretary, Alhaji Hassan Aminu Jauro.
The staff of the agency who throng outben-mass to witness the ceremony, testified that the rapid growth presently being experience by the agency was made possible by the Executive Secretary through the support of the number one citizen of the state, governor Darius Dickson Ishaku.

Some of the staff who bared their minds to our reporter were of the view that the Executive Secretary whom they describe as “workaholic” deserved more awards following the transformations he have heralded to the agency.
Presenting the award, the team leader Hope Vyonku, who made the presentation explained that the Agency was chosen for the award because of its outstanding performance in transforming rural health care services across the 16 LGAs of the state.
Citing theb routine Immunization coverage, Hard to Reach Project, funded by UNICEF and Nigeria State Health Investment Project (NSHIPs) Performance Based Financing (PBF) among several other services supported by Gov. Darius Ishaku to enhance the performance of the Agency in the state, he urged the Executive Secretary and his team not to relent in their efforts to reach out to the rural communities across the state.
The group observed that NSHIP in partnership with the Primary healthcare agency has not only upgraded hundreds of general hospitals and healthcare centres, but also made services attractive to communities in rural area
According to him “All these achievements would not have been possible without the dedication and commitment of the management and staff of Agency.”
Overwhelmed by the recognition, the Executive Secretary reiterated his determination not to derailed from using his office to spread smiles on the faces of women and children as well as the male folks as that according to him would go a long way to prevent our people from dying from preventable diseases.
