W. Africa Crude-Nigerian crude taken in Indian tender

LONDON, May 23 – Some spot trade resumed on Thursday after some cargoes cleared in an Indian tender but results of several more were still due to be announced.

* Just over 10 June-loading cargoes of Nigerian crude were still available after BP was said to have sold a cargo of Forcados, traders said, but further details did not emerge.

* Angola’s state firm Sonangol continued to offer a cargo of Mostarda at dated Brent plus $1.20 a barrel.

* India’s HPCL awarded its buy tender for West African crude for July 1-10 loading to Shell and BP for a VLCC of Bonny Light and Qua Iboe, traders said. The majors are co-loading on the same VLCC.

* Uruguay’s ANCAP bought a cargo of U.S. WTI crude in its latest tender for July 28 to Aug. 1 delivery.

* Indonesia’s Pertamina issued a buy tender for crude loading in July. The tender also closes on Wednesday and remains valid until May 27.

* Taiwan’s CPC closed a buy tender with details expected to emerge on Thursday.
