The party in a statement personally signed by the National Chairman, Dr. Victor Ike Oye, expressed satisfaction with the smooth conduct of the election which he attributed to the determination of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration to bequeath a legacy of free, fair and credible election to the nation.

The party urged the governor-elect not to view his victory as a personal achievement rather he should take it as victory for sustainable democracy.

Oye thanked INEC, political parties, security agents and, the Ekiti State electorate for doing a good job which led to the averting of anarchy and unnecessary blood-letting during the poll.

“The party appealed to President Buhari not to lose concentration, but redouble his effort, in giving Nigerians a purposeful and durable leadership by ensuring strict adherence to constitutionality and legality,” Oye said.
