2019: Bafarawa to PDP chairmen: we must work as a team

A former governor of Sokoto State and one of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) Presidential aspirants, Alhaji Attahiru Bafarawa has urged state party’s chairmen across the country to make history by acting staying neutral in bringing a formidable and acceptable flag-bearer for the party in the forthcoming national convention.
He spoke in Abuja while hosting the 36 states chairmen of the party at his residence, saying this is to enthrone justice, fairness and political unity among all the supporters in the country.

A statement signed by the Head of Social Media of the Bafarawa Campaign Project (BCP), Malam Nuradeen Dalhatu, quoted Bafarawa as also charging them to be united with focus for the development and success of the party than any individual no matter how high.

“One of the biggest challenge that is facing our great PDP today to win the 2019 presidential election was solely under the care and supervision or actions taken by your humble approaches among all the aspirants; no matter at what direction or position.

“Therefore, I implored you to be fair and honest to all of us; this appeal is to all of you (even my state party chairman) not to digress or show concern to any particular aspirant, but give equal opportunity to everyone that has shown his interest,” Bafarawa said

He assured that if given chance he will use political experience and goodwill and to restore and redeemed the country from failure of the APC led administration.
