According to him, the programmes are part of the implementation of the institution’s second phase development plan for its phase II from 2019/20 to 2023/24 academic sessions.

Dangoggo told the visitors that the university was licensed in 2009 by the NUC and commenced academic activities in 2013/2014, adding that it would soon graduate its first set of students.

“We have three faculties, 17 departments and 23 degree programmes which are currently undergoing accreditation by the NUC. The accreditation exercise will be completed in December this year.”

The leader of the delegation told the vice-chancellor that they were in the state on a study tour.
