Buhari thanks Nigerians as his son Yusuf leaves hospital

President Muhammadu Buhari and his family on Friday thanked all those who prayed and wished them well after the bike accident that involved their son Yusuf in Abuja.

According to a statement by the Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, the family,appreciates everyone within and outside the country for their prayers and goodwill messages.

He also confirmed that Yusuf had been discharged from Cedarcrest Hospital, Abuja, on Friday.

“We thank Nigerians from all walks of life, both within and outside the country, leaders of many foreign countries, groups, organizations, individuals, and many others, who prayed, visited, sent messages, and generally stood by us at the trying time,” the family said, praying that almighty Allah would reward them all.

Following the statement made earlier, that Yusuf was ready to be dischared, Adesina confirmed in the statement that has been discharged from Cedarcrest Hospital, Abuja on Friday.

“We thank Nigerians from all walks of life, both within and outside the country, leaders of many foreign countries, groups, organizations, individuals, and many others, who prayed, visited, sent messages, and generally stood by us at the trying time,” the family said, praying that almighty Allah would reward them all.

Yusuf had been discharged from Cedarcrest Hospital, Abuja, Friday, following what the Chief Medical Director described as his “extremely speedy response to treatment.”
