Ghana Oct producer price inflation rises to 8.2 pct yr/yr: stats office

ACCRA (Reuters) – Ghana’s producer price inflation rose to 8.2 percent year-on-year in October from 7.6 percent a month before, the statistics office said on Wednesday.

The major commodity exporter is seeking to cut spending and narrow consumer inflation to 8 percent, plus or minus 2 percent by the end of 2017 under a credit deal with the International Monetary Fund.
