Chelsea’s striker Michy Batshuayi is determined to stay at Chelsea this month and fight for his place.
The striker endured a tough first year personally at Stamford Bridge amid the Blues’ title glory.
He was brought into the fold more at the end of the campaign, though, by Antonio Conte.
And the manager was impressed with Batshuayi’s attitude and performances during pre-season.
However, Lille have been linked with a late swoop worth £36million for the 23-year-old.
Chelsea signed the Belgium international from Marseille last summer for £33m and could potentially make a profit.
But according to the London Evening Standard, Batshuayi has no interest in joining the French club.
A return to Ligue 1 with Lille does not appeal to him, despite the guarantee of more regular game time ahead of the 2018 World Cup.
