A member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the APC, retired Brigadier-General J.O.J. Okoloagu, has said that the Igbo do not want a Biafra or another war, having fought a war in the past which left a nasty experience for them and the entire country.
Addressing a huge crowd in Enugu, yesterday, during a welcome rally organized by the Buhari Support Organisation (BSO), Enugu State chapter, to welcome President Muhammadu Buhari who returned at the weekend, Okoloagu said he could not understand why certain people in Igboland would want to be fighting other people’s war.
“I don’t want our people to go through the experience we went through in the past. I don’t want to fight again. I have fought before. We want to develop our area now. I don’t know why we should be fighting other people’s war.”
