KAMPALA  – Uganda’s headline inflation fell to 5.7 percent in July from 6.4 percent in June, thanks to a slowdown in prices of vegetables, the statistics office said on Monday.

Core inflation, which excludes prices of food, fuel, electricity and water, fell to 4.5 percent during the period from 4.9 percent in the previous month
