SEC grants licence to Anchoria Asset Management


Anchoria Asset Management has been awarded a licence by the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria. This licence grants the company legal rights to perform the function of a fund/portfolio manager in the capital market with immediate effect.

The AAM is a specialist provider of active investment products and services to institutional and individual investors.

The firm, in a statement on Monday, said its investment products focused on capital preservation while providing income and asset class diversification.

The statement added, “The AAM leverages the experience and financial strength of its investors, the VFD Group, a financial services focused proprietary investment company and Anchoria Investment & Securities, a stockbroking firm. the AAM has built upon their legacies with investment capabilities that are intentionally innovative.

“The AAM’s mission is to create opportunities that protect clients’ financial security with core values that revolve around integrity, client focus, leadership and collaboration. The members of its board are Nonso Okpala, Babatunde Dada and Ifedayo Ige with Niyi Adenubi as the chairman.
